I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve on the school committee. I live in Berlin with my wife Jen and our two children Karoline and Aeden. We love this area with its peace and quiet but also the proximity to Boston and Worcester and ease of access to many different attractions.
In my day job, I am both a Realtor with Bridge Realty here in town and a Director of Learning and Development for a hedge fund administrator with offices around the globe.
Previously in life I had the opportunity to live in Bermuda for five years. While living there I helped develop a national lacrosse program which allowed me to introduce the game to the islands youth through several school programs we developed. I was also able to coach our U19 team in the 2008 International World Championships and discovered I enjoyed helping others learn new skills.
Now that our daughter has started school I felt it was important to get involved in the community and thought this committee would be a great fit when the opportunity came along. I’m looking forward to help improve on the already outstanding school system!

I have lived in Boylston for more than 10 years and grew up right next door in Shrewsbury. My husband and I have a four-year-old daughter who attends preschool at Tahanto and a six-year-old son at Boylston Elementary School.
I am a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Massachusetts and Florida. I graduated with a BA in Accounting from Holy Cross and earned my MBA from the University of West Florida. For the past six years, I have been working exclusively for my family-run business providing income tax services for local clients. This work has not only been challenging and educational for me, as I have had the opportunity to work with many different clients, but also fulfilling in being able to provide a helpful service to members of our community. Before joining the family business full time, I worked for about 10 years in public accounting and corporate finance for both large and small software companies.
I have been lucky to have flexibility in my day job which has afforded me the opportunity to become involved in the community. I have been a member of the Boylston Youth Baseball and Softball Board of Directors for two years. I have also been able to coach both tee-ball and soccer for my children. At the end of the last year, I had the opportunity to join the Boylston Education Foundation and am looking forward to working with the group in the years to come.
I am excited and grateful to have been chosen to fill one of the vacant spots on the Berlin-Boylston Regional School Committee in September of 2021. I absolutely am not claiming to have all of the answers, but I am eager to be part of this team and work with our wonderful community to help navigate through whatever challenges the future may hold for our school district.

I am honored to have been chosen to fill a School Committee Vacancy in February 2020, representing the two towns I consider “home”.
My family and I lived in Berlin for eight years prior to moving to Boylston, where we have resided since 2010. My two children have attended both BES and Tahanto. When they were students at BES, I was PTO Treasurer for 3 years, an active classroom and library volunteer, Room Parent, and worked on the district’s Superintendent Search Committee and the Social-Emotional Curriculum (SEL) Search Committee. I have always enjoyed being in the schools, helping teachers, and giving back.
Education is my first love. I taught my very first year in the 3rd grade at the Berlin Memorial School, a one-year hire covering maternity leave. I spent the next 8 years at the Abbot School in Westford, MA, where I taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades as inclusion and differentiated instruction classroom. I worked closely with the administration and helped create student rubrics for the MCAS long and short compositions, both of which became part of the district’s Improvement Plan in early 2000. After receiving my M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Supervision, I trained teachers in grades 3-5 on MCAS best practices.
I am currently a Realtor, working with Boylston’s Walsh & Associates, and received my Massachusetts 1-6 Re-Certification in June of 2020. I am also a founding & prior Board Member of Hope Lives Here (a nonprofit that services grieving adults) and a current board member of the Matthew John Phillips Scholarship fund. Volunteering helps me to give back to the community and the people who matter most.

I grew up in Boylston and graduated from both Boylston Elementary School and Tahanto Regional High School. I was lucky to have participated in Student Council, Envirothon, National Honor Society President, soccer, basketball, softball, Inter-class Play Competitions, and the Senior Class Play while at Tahanto. I graduated Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with the double major of Medical Anthropology and Evolutionary Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I was a paraprofessional at BES in the 4th grade in 2006-2007 and then taught middle/high school math and science at Corwin-Russell School in Sudbury for a year. Shortly after, I graduated with my RN and Family NP licenses from UMass Graduate School of Nursing in 2009 and in 2012. I worked at Marlboro Hospital Medical/surgical inpatient as an RN for 2009-2012. Since 2012, I have worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Provider at Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center in Great Brook Valley.
My husband, a BMS and Tahanto graduate, and I have been together since 2002 and married since 2008. We have 2 beautiful children, who attend school at BES and soon, Tahanto. I love spending time outside in nature, coaching soccer and reading historical fiction.
I appreciate the high caliber and thought-provoking education the staff at our district schools gave to me and I hope to keep the tradition alive. I recognize as a district, we always need to strive to improve and to better serve our students and I'm honored to have been elected to the school committee in 2022 for 4 years.

I moved to Berlin with my husband Glen in 1998. We love the natural and quiet environment, the vibrant community, and the great location.
I attended public schools in Holyoke, MA, and went on to earn my Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts, Isenberg School of Management, and my Master of Science in Food Science and Nutrition at Framingham State University. Since then, I’ve earned additional health-related certifications in yoga, health coaching, and functional medicine. I’ve dedicated my career to helping people improve their health and wellbeing through individual consulting and group programs.
After receiving an excellent education at Berlin Memorial School, Tahanto, and Nashoba, our two kids were well prepared for college. Our daughter graduated from WPI and our son is currently at UMASS Amherst. We deeply appreciate the warm and supportive environment and the academic rigor that the Berlin Boylston Schools provide.
When my kids were young, I served on a subcommittee of the Berlin Planning Board to install a beautiful new, fully ADA compliant playground in the South Common recreational area. As the BMS afterschool program coordinator, I helped to make rich and diverse learning opportunities available to BMS students. I also thoroughly enjoyed volunteering in the classroom. I taught yoga for years at the 1870 Town Hall and am currently teaching meditation at 19 Carter.
Now that my kids are older, I want to give back to the community by serving on the school committee and doing my part to ensure that our kids have the best education, academic experience, and a healthy environment so they can reach their fullest potential. I very much look forward to working with the school committee, administrators, teachers, and parents.
