We are currently seeking presentors for our 2017 STEM Career Night November 6, 2017 at Tahanto Middle/High school.
If you work, teach, or are studying in the fields of science, technology, engineering or mathematics, you are just the person we are looking for to share your experience! The goal of the annual event is to share the passion and excitement of your careers with our young people, so please feel free to be as interactive as possible. It is our hope that your enthusiasm will spark an interest in our students, particularly those in middle and high school, so that they may begin thinking about a possible avenue in one of the S.T.E.M.-related fields for college and career.
Each presenter will be provided with a table and space from which to meet and talk with students, as well as exhibit any materials and related items. Along with materials, please invite a colleague along with you, particularly if he/she is fairly new to a S.T.E.M.-related college course or career. Students may want to ask questions that directly relate to the most recent pathways that these colleagues have taken to get jobs in your company or field.
To assist you with your decision-making, we are happy to provide you with all the necessary details that will make your participation at our event comfortable and successful. We look forward to hearing from you!
Please RSVP by Friday, October 6th to Dr. John Solomonides at firstname.lastname@example.org. And, if you have other friends, colleagues, or family members who are interested in participating, please let us know that, too. We want to make this the richest possible experience for students and presenters alike!
