I am currently in my third year full-time at BES, after having subbed in preschool through grade 4 here and in other districts.  I originally taught Kindergarten for many years before taking a few years off to be with my family when my third child was born.  I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education.  I love teaching Third Grade!  It is so exciting to watch the students make the shift from learning to read to reading to learn.  

I am a mom of three: my oldest, Jen, is an EMT;  my son, Kevin, currently attends U Mass. Lowell; and my youngest daughter, Emily, is a high-schooler.  My husband, my children, and I love to walk along the beach with our yellow lab, Drew.  In my free time, I love to read, I play the trumpet, and I train in Shotokan Karate.
