Our family moved to Boylston three years ago and I live here with my wife Suzanne and our two young children, Henry (5) and Ruth (4). We chose to raise our family in Boylston because it offered a rural, small-town feel, close proximity to Worcester, and a high-quality public school system.
I am the product of Massachusetts public schools and graduated from Taunton High School. I went on to study Biochemistry at WPI and later earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut. I began my career in the pharmaceutical industry and for the past decade, I have worked in Higher Education and independently, as a nonprofit management consultant.
I was appointed to the BBRSD School Committee to fill a vacancy in September 2021. Since being appointed, I have begun to see first-hand the dedication and commitment of our administrative team, teachers, and staff.
We have a strong, high-performing school district and I look forward to supporting its continued excellence. As we exit some difficult years, I am particularly interested in how we are educating the whole student: physically, mentally, and academically.
After his first day of Kindergarten this past fall, I asked my son how his first day was, and he told me it was “great.” Our collective goal as a community should be for every student in this district, even the teenagers, to respond with that same level of joy and enthusiasm at the end of every school day.
