Special COVID Announcement:
Thank you to all of the households that participated in our remote lunch program during the hybrid model! Our food service team distributed 16,500 remote meals to the community since the beginning of the school year. As we switch back to the all-in learning model, eligibility for our remote meals will change. Free remote meals will continue to be available to students in the full remote learning model that are enrolled in the district. Each child continuing to learn remotely is eligible for 5 breakfast and 5 lunches per week. Students choosing to return to the full in-person learning model will be offered free breakfast and free lunch day each day they learn onsite, and will not be eligible for remote meals. This change will be effective April 5th for elementary students, and April 12th for middle/high school students.
Lunch in the cafeteria is free to all students until 6/30/2021, or until federal funding is depleted. Snack and extra meals are not included. To purchase snack items or an extra meal you must have funds loaded to your account via MySchoolBucks or Unipay.
Tahanto Lunch Program Information
Lunch is free to all students until 6/31/2021 or until federal funding is depleted. This does not include snacks, extra meals, or a la carte items. In order to ensure our students spend less time in line, we have stopped handling cash in the lunch line. To load funds to your student's account see the following methods:
Tahanto is only accepting payment through My School Bucks or Unibank at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Pre-payment on-line through the My School Bucks program allows you to see your balance, your child's purchases, and will send you low balance alerts. You can register for this program by setting up an account at www.myschoolbucks.com. You can find a full description of that program here.
- Pre-payments can also be made for students through the Unibank program which you can find by clicking here. This program does not have user fees, but also does not offer the balance alert features found in the My School Bucks application.
