Mrs. Inwood

Hello Families! 

My name is Mrs. Inwood.  I am about to start my eleventh year teaching at BES and I am excited to be teaching in Grade 4 again for the 2023- 24 school year. I earned my Masters in Education from Lesley University and because we are all life long learners, I  completed a writing class this summer. When I am not at school I am spending time with my husband, John, cooking or taking long walks in the woods in search of waterfalls and old trees.  Our 23 year old son, Logan, is a software engineer living in Quincy.

For the parents - my educational philosophy is founded on growing the whole child: academically, emotionally, and behaviorally.  We focus on recognizing our strengths in every activity and putting effort into all that we do.  Collaboration with our peers and communication of our ideas is integral to our work.  And JOY!  My intention is to put joy into every school day.

For the students - I love cats, reading, and singing.  My favorite subject in school is math and I could do math problems all day  - but don't worry!  We won't.  :)  

I am looking forward to what this new school year will bring!
